the "theory" that less ozone means more UV entry. The formation of ozone is the product of, not the barrier to, solar UV radiation. And if the ozone layer is the product of 3xO2 + UV, what does it matter that CFC's break down ozone? Breaking down O2 would create a problem by binding oxygen before it could form ozone, but ozone already-formed? And what about natural sources of CFC's, like Mt. Pinatubo?
