What on earth is the purpose of a Numlock key... by NOLAWitch2002-03-20 13:33:33
There is one practical use for the Numlock by TehWinnar 2002-03-20 14:11:35
MS Flight Simulator. Yes, I use it largely. Numlock on, and you have plane controls(pitch, roll, rudder, fuel, flaps, and elevator trim all are in this one small space). Numlock off, and I use the keypad to look around, pause, and play with personal settings.

Only use the bloody thing has. Otherwise, just buy a Happy Hacking keyboard w/o the Keypad. :)
