  New Technology by mcnutcase2002-03-20 11:08:10
Then why have i seen the term "NT Technology"? by BlurOfSerenity2002-03-20 12:48:40
      It's all tricky. by nin_man 2002-03-20 13:16:35
Since Microsoft originally couldn't trademark Windows, they started naming their different products things like 3.1, 95, NT, and all sorts of silly things. NT is just as much a product name as an acronym, and the NT Technology you see advertised refers to the more intelligent process management and multithreading capabilities introduced to Windows users in NT.

Now, as to why you see the term "NT Technology" I can only guess that you've been reading Windows 2000 documentation, as Windows 2000 is the only product I know of that's Built on "NT Technology" :P
