What I hate about the "Industry" by aix tom 2002-03-20 04:05:48

I have no problem with people trying to protect products they are selling from piracy.

But how many times have I tried to get some particular song in the time before the internet and was not able to ? Now I have at least the chance to maybe find it somewhere.

The same thing is true for older or not so popular movies and stuff, only they are not so easy to find on the net ( yet, I hope ;-) )

I tried to get some TV-stuff that hasn't been run for ages a while back. I contacted the company that has the rights but no chance. "Yes, we have the rights, no it's not going to be published, no it's not going to be broadcast, no you not gonna get it."

I finaly was able to get a very bad quality (illegal) copy on Video. I would gladly have paid for a "legal" one, but they didn't let me.
