Most bus drivers are reasonable for offering info/directions on things. There are also online maps to somethings at www.mybc.com and a few other sites.(they show direction maps to malls/stores, etc I forget if it offers transit info but some sites here do). I'm glad you will ask for directions ... some people I know here stubbornly wont and even with a map they get lost. Often due to more than one road/street/ave bearing the same name or in diffrent areas of vancouver or oddly split roads. I think most of the stuff around transit though is reasonable to find. Though the malls themselves I find myself lost in sometimes. Metrotown is huge and probably if I went to it more I'd not wonder around lost as much when I actually do go there. But its not bad (actually when lost I just go oooh neat store look at that and wonder by if it has funky lights, swords, newagy kinda things, etc) ... however lansdown mall I think it was in Richmond(well one of the Richmond ones) was weird to get around like some maze. I lived in Richmond for 2 years and that didn't help. Oddly though I didn't do too bad getting around west edmonton mall. :)
