Two years ago I had a college course in U.S. History. It was during the summer so the class was taught by an adjunct teacher named Beda. After a couple of weeks of watching “Are you being served again” (a British comedy re-run) and tapes of the previous nights “Who wants to be a Millionaire” (a pop culture fad of the time) we started to catch on to the fact that this guy was a complete moron. It turns out that he had never taught any class let alone a college history course. Upon further prodding of his past we found out that he hadn’t even taken a U.S. history course in his long past youth. About half way through the semester even the slackest of slackers became fed up with his archives of “Amos and Andy” and “Stanford and son”. Now I am the kind of person who actually enjoys a challenging class and considering I paid $75 US Dollars for my book I decided to take a look Inside. Near the back in the 1970’s section I have heard of stories of college riots little did I know I was about to be an active member of historical re-enactment. Actually the riot was not so big. Now this is where I get to the point. Just because someone has a failed campaign for the House of Representatives twenty years in the past (as he did) does not qualify for any kind of experience as a pundit for U.S. History. -Thanks for listening to my rant, Joshka M.
