Lougheed Mall, Coquitlam Center, and Metrotown are all major transit depot stations I think. So should be reasonably reachable for most. It just depends on where everyone is comming from. For the area you said you'd be aprox staying in those should be easily reachable by you. Hopefully that transit site I gave offers some help. If it doesn't ask me and if I know the area your talking on(street/local wise) I'll offer suggestions. St. Johns (main street in port moody) typically has thease buses going up it all the time:
160 Vancouver/Port Coquiltam
- it stops at Coquitlam Center Depot by Coquitlam Center Mall and also at Poco Depot near Poco City hall. It also goes to the Burrard Terminal in down town vancouver (which meets up with sky train and several other buses).
147 Braid/Coquitlam center
- This bus stops at braid skytrain station, by lougheed mall(on a north road stop) and also goes to coquitlam center.
148 Ioco or annmore/Braid
- This one goes down St. Johns and will stop at coquitlam center as well as by lougheed mall at same stop as the 147 (they are usually only a 5-15 min apart actually) However the routing is a bit diffrent and it goes all the way to Belcarra Provincial Park if I remember right.
161 Poco This one goes down Pinetree near coquitlam center from the depot across from the mall and goes out down past westwood if I remember right and to poco city center.
701 does from coquitlam center to Maple ridge (so passes through poco)
151 vancouver/coquitlam station
- This one goes to burrard station in vancouver. 152 also goes the same route. Both stop at lougheed mall and I think New Westminster skytrain station.
There are a variety of others too... anyhoo hopefully that helps give you an idea. The route maps are on the transit site. |
