Clue-by-four needed. by wheresthefish2002-03-18 11:44:16
  I'm a little confused by Egaeus2002-03-18 12:21:26
    As did I. by wheresthefish 2002-03-18 12:28:07
All I know is that I booted a working linux machine with it, it came up with an error to the effect of "You have no FAT partition on this drive", and then it came up to the "Start with/without CD-ROM support" prompt. Next attempt at booting linux failed. As did all my attempts to use the SuSE recovery tools.

Quite why it decided to modify my system I don't know, but it did it anyway.
