/me feels so much closer to being a REAL geek. See, for some reason yet unknown to me, my network settings got screwed around to the point where I could no longer log on to our home network. With no network access, I had no internet connection (unless I wanted to use the server directly, but it's not in my room, so where's the fun in that?). What's worse, (gasp! Worse than no internet??! Yes, friends, sadly, this was, to me, far worse...) I lost access to my music.
That made me a sad panda.
BUT, I fixed it, gwa ha, all on my own. NO help, at all whatsoever, from my roommate. You know, he's THE IT guy for his company, you'd think he'd know how to handle something like that...but he didn't, and I did, and now I'm cool. *grins like an idiot*
