...he can't change his diary's top level permanent content. Try making a post, and put the following text in it.
<a href="http://www.userfriendly.org>User Friendly</a>
Then hit Preview. All the code for the Submit and Preview buttons go into the comment box, and there's no Preview and Submit buttons below it any more. The impression I got was that dogman0 has done the same with his diary. The difference is that he can't change it, because the code for the "Save User Settings" button is now saved into his top level content (even though you don't see it in the diary) and so even if he does correct the HTML in the box, there's no button to save it with.
This seems like a serious bug - one missed quote can irrevocably mess up someone's diary, until someone can manually remove the offending HTML from the database, and (I think) the only people who can do that are Kickstart and Yohimbe. Any news on a fix? |
