I've known about the tape for months. I have friends who work at the Pentagon, and some who fought the fire. One, a soldier, was on the 'recovery' detail in the weeks immediately following the attack. As for the timing. It's been 6 months. CBS is running a documentary on Sunday. It was shot inside the WTC. Apparently, while it doesn't show the people who jumped from the 100th floor hitting the ground, you can hear the impacts.
