Ahoy all ye Latecomers by Linfalgamo 2002-03-05 23:34:04
It be 11:3ish UFie time, what ye all be doing?

I'm grunting over my desktop, which having finally setup up the dual boot from a couple weeks back died. Yep, this morning I turned my computer on and it gave me a message "NTLDR Missing etc. etc." And upon rebooting I got a message reporting a fatal error on my hard disk. Then after rebooting again my harddrive made clicky noises and booted halfway into windows before freezing. Upon another reboot the clicking noises became grinding as my whole computer halted.

All I can say is I'm glad I didn't keep any files on that drive.

It's probably still under warranty. RMA it. (n/t) by slamlander2002-03-05 23:53:33
