My take on this (in extreme retrovision) was that the moderation was unnecessary, but completely understandable given the lack of context. You (begrudgingly) admitted as much after taking much unnecessary abuse (and some simple requests for clarification), and undid the minor deed.

But I think the whole flame war was a grand sight, and if you don't mind, a nicely mysterious moderation at about 2PM EST tomorrow would be most appreciated. ;-)
