possible answers:
a) the answer is in the question, unless you can be both uncle and aunt at the same time. if it is your uncle, as the question states, then it's your uncle, whether it's male or female.
b) the question is flawed: "if your uncle were female" is contradictory.
c) depends on the relation: if it's your parent's sibling, then yes. if it's your parent's sibling's SO (your aunt's spouse, for example) then yes. if it's just a friend of your parent's, but such a good friend as to acquire that title, then yes. oh, wait --- those are all the same answer... ;)
