re big weddings I couldn't really understand them. I was in my sisters wedding party and it was a medium size wedding. It just seemed so stressful more than a relaxed and happy event. Mine was by a justice of the peace when I got married... and in my ex's parents house. Unfortunately it wasn't as peaceful as I was hoping.(yes you can fit 150 people in a small house ... yuck)

I think if I ever did it again (got married again) it would be strictly us (me and the other), my son, and a witness or two and thats it(in some relaxed environment that is for whatever reason special to me and my partner)... Its not about flash, the perfect dress, etc its about love after all thats why people typically get married. My sister is getting remarried this summer. It will be a simple event in my moms backyard, casual dress, with her kids(and maybe step kids) present and the odd bit of family. She realized after the stress, etc of her first that its not worth it... its about love not about being stressed out, in debt, etc.
