| Would you rather have the police force be underpaid? Perhaps a volunteer force of untrined civilians can investigate the murder of, say, your SO or child or parent. Maybe we could just have NO police force. Then you can deal with that guy who stole your car, or you child, all on your own. Perhaps we jsut shouldn't have any government, eh? Then you can jsut do whatever you want, right? I'm sorry, egaeus, but you are just wrong. If you (the greater you) thinks that the primary job of a police officer is to hand out speeding tickets, that their goal is to anoy you and bother your day, I must say that you are direly wrong. |
