We also have gold. And oil isn't as non-rewnewable source as people once thought. Old dried up abandonded oil fields up here have begun sprouting oil once again... And for anyone who cares to argue that we should not open ANWR for driling because it'll hurt the carbiue population, needs to seriously do some studying. Everywhere were we've cleared trees and ran pipe, carbiue go and gather. Mosquitoes leave them alone because of hte heat and daylight not present in the woodland areas. Mosquitoes get so thick they literally kill caribue. Herds congregate around pipe, awaite the mosquitoes leaving, and then tehy themselves leave again once more in whatever search/goal they have. Cariboue populations have INCREASED in areas we've run pipe.
