Questions about Redhat Linux and WinXP by cural2002-02-08 12:53:29
Some of us just enjoy a challenge by beez 2006-11-19 12:55:59
I don't like having everything set up for me. I want control of my programs, where their installed to, what compile options are used, etc. For those reasons (and many others), I use Slackware linux. I started out on RedHat, but little things about it makde it very hard for me to use. I only got seriously into linux once I had moved to Slackware, and found out how things REALLY worked. I now use X-windows instead of Windows most of the time: only boot windows about once a month (to print things).
