DHCP Configuration by rabg2002-02-08 14:37:54
  You need another hardware profile by breezeblock 2002-02-08 15:15:40
Are you using NT/2000? if so:

1) R/C "my computer" ->"properties"
2) select "Hardware Profiles"
3) add a new hardware profile, select "properties" and check the box that says "this is a portable computer" (working from memory here so if details slightly wrong then please forgive) :o)

Win9x:
1) R/C "my computer" ->"properties"
2) select "Hardware Profiles"
3) click "Copy" and give your profile a new name eg "Remote"
4) select "Device Manager"
5) expand your LAN card and click "Properties"
6) remove check in "exists inall profiles" and click "OK"
Again, working from memory and couldnt be bothered to reboot to win98 so if details slightly wrong, apologies!

Hope that helps :o)
