Crotch crickets definitely sound worse, but cooties are invisible, and more importantly, silent, so they'd be far more difficult to detect. Still, neither has the same fear potential as crabs, which is what I figure they're both based on anyway, so it's sort of meaningless to weigh one against the other. (Not to mention impossible, since cooties have no weight and absolutely nobody would be willing to touch a crotch cricket long enough to place one on a scale. Ah well, yet another perfectly useless question of science that must forever remain unanswered...)
Heh. I used to work at a comic shop, and once while sorting through some of the old horror mags, I came across a weird and sick little tale that put a relatively obvious but none-the-less nerve-jangling twist on the idea of someone "having crabs." Remind me to describe it in more detail sometime. (Or wait a few minutes for Kickstart and Grovella to remind me I'd better do no such damn thing if I value my access at all.) |
