TANSTAAFL (there aint no such thing as a free lunch). While Linux can be described as "free", it is not! You have to "pay" by learning. I'm a linux newbie and I have stuck the entire suse package (all 7 CDs) on my box. This resulted in a load of stuff I havn't got a clue about. But from now on it's up to me. I can either get my head down and start learning or I can sit on my fat backside and waste six gigs of harddrive playing sokoban. Sure i'm going to make a lot of mistakes and I may have to rebuild a few times but nobody said the learning process was painless. I'm not trying to diss Red-hat, I just think that if you want to get the full benefit of linux you have to be prepared to put a bit of work in.
