Two things wrong that I can pull of the top of my head:

For one, it doesn't force you to learn anything. I've played with RedHat, OpenLinux, and a few others, and all of them started me out with a nice pretty GUI that taught me nothing. I've always learned in by jumping headfirst into the swimming pool and figuring out how not to drown :) Distros that do-it-for-you also tend to do things behind the pretty GUI that you may not want done, kind of like window's system restore "feature".

Second thing that's wrong is that if linux becomes too easy to use, it will no longer be exclusive to true geeks!
