I don't like redhat because it's made with that "do it for you" attitude that microsoft has. It's made so that anyone can use it while understanding as little as possible about how it works underneath. Personally, I prefer Slackware which "has aimed at producing the most "UNIX-like" Linux distribution out there", while redhat, IMHO, tends to lean more towards being windows-like.
