actually I'm hoping you aren't on level 4.5 but actually level 4 with the comments posted below.. so I will help you on level 4 but not 4.5 (since I still have no clue on that one)..

yes the password length is 7.

somewhat of a hint is that I looked at the code, closed out the source and just went on gut instinct of what the password would be, remember this is supposedly a *hacker* challenge and what do people normally use as a password?

hopefully that helped but didn't blatently give it away.. if it did I'm sorry.. but I need more ppl to help me on Level 4.5
