I sometimes felt that the only reason people had kids is so that they could get out of doing housework. Housework and dog pooper scooping. Or maybe it's a power trip, absolute control, absolute adoration and love by the child (for the first few years anyway, by the time they don't love you just make them mop the floor and you'll feel better), and nothing makes some people feel good like putting others down. Who better to put down than those that can not run without damaging their lives? The children thing I just threw in for humor, you know.. making babies...
