... and that is truely my fault. His rant was one I've heard a thousand times. In fact, I'm partially on his side. It's his management that's fsck'd. OTOH, there is another side of the story to his rant. One that doesn't get expounded enough. I've spent a lot of time in and on IT projects. Many of the problems I've had are IT/S related. I've even seen projects, intended to enhance corp revenue, fail because IT/S hated it and worked against it. On the flip-side, I've also seen IT/S be real heros.
