words like "unimaginative" and "incompetent". Also, telling someone whose job function you effectively attacked to not "take the defence" is puzzling, to say the least.
Sure, you said things as reasonably as such things could be said. But they are clearly a criticism of Internal IT, and someone from that sector should be expected to respond. The response was equally well couched in "non-offensive" language, but you criticised that action, as well.
Honestly, I don't think this was such a bad thread, except for the request that he not respond. But this is my best guess as to what others saw as wrong. |
