Mandrake Linux 8.1 lose mouse control by neo_mo 2002-01-03 15:12:14
I have been aavid windows user, but I decided to reformat one of my machines and install Linux on it. I have three computer under my desk connected by a USB hub. Linux works fine, until I switch computers. When I switch back, I lose control over my mouse. I can still use my keyboard, and my mouse is connected to my keyboard, but no mouse control. I have to reboot about three times before it will work again. Is this a problem with Mandrake and switch boxes, or is there something I can do that can prevent me from installing windows on my machine again. I love the speed and response of Linux, if I could get to work right, I might even switch over permantly.
