maybe that was it - upon thinking about it more - i think it was more to do with the type of drugs used - it was never clear to me when i was a kid - all i really remember was taking these huge pills - and constantly being in and out of the emergency room - i think i had some severe bouts of the flu the two years after the incident with TB - not really sure - just remember my parents telling me to put my foot down about the skin test - only time i had to was with a doctor wanting to give me a test prior to my changing schools - he hadn't consulted my record beforehand - that was also the last time i dealt with him.
