If I asked you "are you red or blue?" then your answer would be either red or blue (no pun intended ;-)), not yes/no! However, the grammatically correct question should have been: "are you red or are you blue?" A wrong answer would be "all tech support people are". A grammatically correct answer would be "I am red"/"I am blue"/"I am both"/"I am blue, like all tech support people are"... see here as well. Just my 2 cents :))
