During the Falklands War, the British government attempted to buy every Exocet they could. Given how many men and ships we lost to the few Argentina actually owned, it was money very well spent. I think that reverse engineering the Stinger would be an immensely difficult task. I imagine it could be done by a country like China, or maybe India or Pakistan, but I think it would be beyond the means of your average Afghan warlord. Andy
