the funny thing is that the UK isn't in the EURO (*cheer*) and in the past obviously didn't accept 'foreign money' in the shops... but it seems that despite UK not officially in the EURO some shops now will (or at least say they will - in practice is likely to fall flat/take a lot of hassle) take EURO.... yet they never took my Deutsch marks when I went home to see my family so why should they now take my EURO'S ??? It's a bit of a puzzle to me....

how abt there in DK? are shops saying they'll accept it or not?
