.. I'm only at 28.8 when I am at home, and it is due less to the fact that I have a slow modem than to the two facts (1) no DSL service out here in the boonies yet, and (2) bad phone connection, which means even the one 56K modem in the house rarely connects at faster than 28 or 36. We got 42 once, and thought it was a miracle.

On the bright side, when I go back to college, I have access to a school network with THREE T1 lines. Very nice. I am spoiled. Nice to have download speeds of several MEGS a minute.
