| Well, some of them. There are those who have the talent and may very well be worth every penny they make - one has to take into consideration the amount of money a star player can make for his team - but I do have a grievance with someone who's being paid $3 million a year and won't play because he stubbed his toe. Or someone who plays fourth-string and is still taking in more a year than I'll likely see in ten. But I've no quarrel with anyone who'll go to work every day and play until it's medically impossible to play any more - it's not an easy job. Law enforcement and teachers both get a royal screwjob every payday, and I wish it were possible for them both to make more. They'll never make what they deserve, because I don't think you can really put a price on what they do, but they certainly don't make enough. Oh, and web cartoonists. They're seriously underpaid. ;) |
