I've heard all sorts of things on politicians over the years that the average person doesn't always know and others that do don't always comment on it.(my cousin and her sons were both government liasons, etc). The house people here had a bar, nice "delux" cafeteria, various expenses covered, etc... They can give themselves raises and only so many years in office qualifies someone for government politicians pension which as you know is more than what the average worker makes in a year... Also often they don't show up to meetings some only bother for the on camera or otherwise stick to the minimums. Some citizens in past have tried to get various ones kicked out.(hmm I remember some petition awhile back that made bctv's news...).
I don't throw rocks I carry much better ammo... See if you go to any gov office or the queens printer you can request various acts of government, orders, and public records on various things. I have copies of the BC Benifits act including the subsection on persons with disabilities. I also had the the policy manual for them and also the on one for MCF I think... oh and info on how to get ahold of the ombudsman, etc... see a few times people were jerks, didn't follow proper protocol, or "stuff" happened where they were out of line... I delt with them and they know now best to not under estimate me simply because I'm autistic, disabled, and a single parent of a disabled kid, etc...
/me packs big larts for gov workers that get outta line... also I've heard how to lart politicians to some extent.(thanks to family years ago and some nicer workers giving off record hints, etc...) |
