Question of the Day! by kickstart2001-12-23 00:00:04
  Pro Athletes....Law Enforcement. (n/t) by Illiad2001-12-23 00:04:55
I agree its getting silly by Arienadean 2001-12-23 00:27:13
Both some "stars" of sports and movies are making rediculous amounts of money... Money that could be better spent on other things and which up prices of things to the end consumer who doesn't "consume" as much due to the expense that was passed on in ticket prices, merchendise, etc... and Emerg Services should get more in general... be it medicine or police.(I think fire services do ok here just medical and police could probably do with more... and some emerg prepardness which depends *heavily* on volunteers...).

/me was a volunteer in a local emerg prep thing here involving ham radio ops... (volunteers were great but there was a lack of funding, lack of recognition for many running it, and too much politics)... also I have family that are nurses, paramedics, etc and know various police people(reservists, etc).
