Ok, the movie was largely satisfying even though some things were cut, and others were changed. Hopefully the stuff that was cut makes its way into the DVD version. The only thing I detested about the movie was the Blair Witch shakey-cam they used for combat shots. It, coupled with the CG, made for a literally visually painfull experience. Especially the scene with the troll in Moria. IMHO, it really would have been more effective if the cameraman wasn't running around defending himself from the orcs while getting the shot.
