REVIEW: Lord of the Rings by Illiad2006-11-19 12:55:59

Some are right on target (at least according to my imagination), some are a bit off and a very few are totally off the track.
Good ones are Boromir (Bean). Just perfect. Gandalf and Saruman (Christopher Lee must have been born for this role). Bilbo Baggins. Samweis Gamdschie. Legolas. Peregrin and Merry. The Riders. Some others.
A little bit off: Aragorn. Not excatly what i had in mind. Gimli (though he is close).
Completly off i would say first of all is Sauron. But that may be because i never pictured him. Elrond (oh my god. good actor, thats true. But wrong cast. An Elf, ok. but not Elrond. He was a halfelf anyway if I recall correctly). Frodo Baggins.

And I missed Tom Bombadil.

All in all I agree. Good movie. Go see it.
