Now, I must add before I go on that I have not read the books as of yet (LOTR), and only have the movies interpritation of the characters to go on... But there seemed to me to be a lot of similarities between what I invisioned in the Belgariad and what I saw on the screen. The one that jumped out and bit me was the similarity between Legolas and Lelldorin. The best bowmen, elvish... And the picture I had of Lelldorin was startlingly similar to that of Legolas. Other things were smaller... The visual seperation between the "good" lands and the "bad" lands, the two main wizards as whimsical but still serious when needs be... The elvish lands... sigh It would be really neet to see the Belgariad put to film as well...
