| At what temperature do you want to melt chocolate? IMHO it should melt at a temp far below "discomfort", hey good chocolate melts in your hands. Never gave (unwrapped) chocolate to your sister's children? They make a wonderful picture, and even their mother will laugh (though a bit bitter, if she thinks of washing)
Of course, you CAN melt your chocolate at higher temperatures (over 40°C), but before you get burned, it has to be over 55°C. And that temp also destroyes the good chocolate taste -making it bitter- and it won't be as smooth and beautiful any more after it's cold again. So for decorations: don't overheat (overhaste?) the chocolate and same thing if you want not to spoil the taste.
Chocolate -though necessary for life- is only "luxury" if you take your time to prepare it: slowly, warming it softly. |
