...is that your dustballs are obviously runty little wimps. Once they reach the size of tumbleweeds, they'll not only be able to hear you quite clearly from the other side of the room, but it'll take something approaching hurricane-force galewinds to get them to budge when they're inclined to stay put. True, they tend to make the couch tip a little when they decide to all congregate underneath on one side, but I don't criticize their business and they don't criticize mine. Which is good, because lately I've begun to suspect they might be carnivorous. (Well, we haven't seen the mailman in a few days, and his half-chewed uniform turned up wedged between the armchair cushions not too long ago. Still, I guess there's no point jumping to wild conclusions based on nothing but weak circumstantial evidence like that.)

As for inhaling one of these guys, it would take a highly-skilled team of dedicated cocaine junkies snorting in 24hr shifts over the space of several weeks to pull off, and even then you probably wouldn't be able to get all the residual fuzz traces out of the carpet. I tell ya, these guys can take care of themselves. (And if you tick 'em off, they'll take care of you, too. I hate to talk about what happened to those Jehovah's Witnesses that came by yesterday during their afternoon nap. Totally horrible, man... There were pamphlets everywhere.)
