The one time I dyed my hair red (a nice, rich dark red), I made sure to get matching lipstick... it looks spectacular, especially if you have pale skin. Eye makeup is good, but I had guys tell me that lipstick to match the hair, if you can pull it off, is extremely hot. I miss being able to wear that shade effectively... my natural hair color is too brown/blonde pale with the rest of me to cope with it. :(
