Do you guys know of a good place to buy chocolate? by crash_2001-12-04 07:03:22
Check the local grocery stores... by sailorbeavis 2006-11-19 12:55:59
If your local grocery store has any kind of international foods section that does more than sell Goya products, check them out. Here in Rochester (western NY), we have the Wegmans grocery chain, and they sell some lucious German milk chocolate bars... The brand name is Sarotti; it's made by a German company called Stollwerck. It's good stuff. Lindt makes pretty good chocolate too, but there is definitely better to be found IMO.

My friend brought back some European chocolate from a small chocolate shop in France that was mind-blowing, though, so I sympathize if you're going through withdrawl. ;-)

Unfortunately, buying online can limit your choices... I personally wouldn't do it, because I like my chocolate solid, not melted in a UPS delivery truck. That being said, check out the Yahoo Shopping Directory for Chocolate: http://dir.yahoo.com/Business_and_Economy/Shopping_and_Services/Food_a nd_Drink/Desserts_and_Sweets/Candy/Chocolate/.
