The word 'useful' is key, but you have to expand on how it is useful and why. If you are to write an essay on it, some comments about the different search engine are obvious. Over and above that, you may want to focus on one specific area of research and provide 'good' sites for that particular field. (not intended to be a flame->) The Internet is not the WWW - it was there long before browsers showed up. Many people drive cars withough understanding what's under the hood. The fact that you are taking courses on line leaves much to be explored. You may as well (not for this assignment) want to investiguate which are the protocols you use to make this course possible (Is it H323). And don't miss UserFriendly in your site list :)
