Any Chance of Illiad being published by pecosdave2001-12-04 08:59:37
    From what I've gathered... by nin_man 2001-12-04 09:22:46
...being syndicated in papers 'round the country (or countries) all but requires being syndicated by one of two or three syndication houses (United Media and the like) and with that comes control - syndication companies want their comics published in the most papers to make the most money, and to that end they tend to lean on the artists a little more heavily in regards to content and storylines. Or, to stop putting a shine on things, have been known to edit the comics after the artist has submitted it, without his knowledge or consent. This is perfectly legal because they more or less own the rights to the comics they publish, which I think is another big no-no in Illiad's mind. Sure would be in mine.
