You do the web based mailing lists? My name would turn up more if I'd done that but I only tried about 3 briefly. I primarily stuck to email ones using settings that prevented my email/name from being listed, etc... It lowers spam, etc. On lists that are both web/newsgroup/email it might also help to cut spam, etc if you get it by email and have your settings a certain way.(then I think it wont get gated to non subscribers so will be invisible to those that may spam... but I could be wrong<shrug>)
