But to make things even more confusing, those whacky christians
seem to have created their people naming scheme in Europe
in such a way that none of the initials have to be directly
related to how someone is called: my mother's name is Marianca,
which is IIRC constructed from (parts of) the first 2 of her 4 'christian names':
Maria Catarina (take the first, add an 'n' and take the first 2 letters of the second).

The Americans confused me with their middle names, now I strike back. ;-)
