IIRC my father's name is C.J.L.M. van Loon (silly multiple christian names; I'm lucky to have just a M. ;) ) BTW, the American concept 'middle name' is IMHO quite confusing: I once put the 'van' into the 'middle name' part of a WWW form before I knew that the middle name is a second first name... @_@ (I guess for my father, the C. would go into the 'first name' field, the J.L.M. into the 'middle name' field and van Loon into the 'last name' field of such a form...)
