Question of the Day! by kickstart2006-11-19 12:55:59
All kinds of stuff! by nystran 2001-12-04 04:14:51
But I had a feeling that would happen. My great great great uncle John Clark Ridpath wrote many books during the mid to late 1800's. He wrote a 25 vol set called the Library of Universal Literature, which was at its time THE reference for looking up anything Literature realted. He wrote many more books mainly history and biographies. His books are still popular among collectors just not all that rare. My parents have many of his works.

There are also a few other famous people that are some relation to me. There is a Michael Ridpath who has written books on marketing I believe. Ian Ridpath who is an astronomer and has written at least half a dozen books on that subject. Finally, there is Jean Redpath (variation on the spelling) who sings folk songs and has a few records out there.

Needless to say, I've never met any of these people and they have never sent me a birthday card (let alone one with money in it :(
