An page on a Navy site commemorating my uncle Bob's work there on corrosion prevention. (I didn't realize he had won awards, but I did know his Doctorate's project, also on corrosion prevention had taken an unexpected 30 years, due to the fact that the methods he was developing worked so well. Yes his project was to soak treated metal plates in salt water until they coroded, unfortunatly the new method he came up with worked too well, making it take him 30 years to get his PhD.)
